Knitted rompers

I made this romper suit using sock wool, purchased in an American store. It is not quite the same ply as we have in England, but it is the equivalent of 4 ply. The wool is designed for knitting socks and knits up in an attractive fair isle pattern without having to keep changing wool.

By knitting a larger garment, the pattern alters itself and interesting variations occur.

I have stitched a label in the back, explaining who made the garment. :) Click to enlarge the picture and you'll see what I mean.

All ready now for the jumper, which is a current project.
